Road Rave 2020 in Chicago
I so happy that snow is melting more than is coming down during
schizophrenic midwest weather season. I've already kicked around
my town of Milwaukee 5 times on my outdoor skates in the last 3 weeks.
Last year, I google-stumbled into this great group of skaters in Chicago
called Windy City Skaters. I attended 3 of their Road Rave events which
are held every other Friday evening from 7:30pm to 10pm. Organizer
Tom does a great job of pre-mapping the nights' skate which always
starts at Daley Plaza and always finishes at Monk's Pub. What is in
between varies week-to-week and is always interesting. If you're in the

I'll be missing the first of these of the season on May 1st as the event
collides with my first Friday of the Month retro skate at Ozaukee Skateland.
I will attend the May 15th event though, weather willing...

So, this was cancelled for May 1st, 15th and 29th. As far as I know, June 12th is ON tho'.
Sorry didn't update my comments on this sooner. ALL of 2020 Road Rave was cancelled by Tom. Been seeing small amount of people coordinating independent rolls around Chicago on the Facebox group. I might get down there nearer the end of the Summer but right now having too much fun skating outside in the Milwaukee area... even if it's by myself.
