Transition from blades to PIC
Can I reuse old boots for my PIC frame? How many times can an ice skate be retooled? Is this even a thing?

The condition of your old boot soles will determine if the will take a PIC frame. Tee nuts will solve a lot of problems in well drilled soles.
As far as retooling an ice blade, I'm not certain I am following you here. Are you looking to change the basic function of the blade??
I guess I mean how many times can a leather boot be drilled?
Quite frankly, this is a how high is up question. Various mounting methods may limit how many times you can change mounts. Is the blade you pulled the only mount?? If so then the PIC should not be a problem.
