Ice Skate Conversions - Use of a front wedge
With particular regard to Bauer NS & NSX conversions, I've noticed many builds that you can buy pre-built don't accommodate a wedge at the front, be it something akin to a crazy power wedge or more bespoke nylon or plywood wedges. Is this because the NS & NSX don't truly require a wedge at the front for a good connection/fit to the plate, or simply it's added pain to the build that outweighs other factors?
Interested to hear peoples thoughts.
