I don't think I'd call it proper slalom but I do technically slalom.
How long? I haven't been at it for that long, 2 months (at the time of writing]. Location, I do it at a skatepark. There was an old guy who wold set up stuff on normal sidewalk concrete but at that time, I was still working on translating my dance style to quad skates. I [currently] use a _Riedell 111_ boot on the cheap nylon thrust plate.
Did you come from inline skating?
My inline skating experience is only bombing hills in the morning as to not be late. I didn't have any real technique back then.
